4 Days and Counting

Only 4 days until the wedding! Brandon and I are picking the kids up from school at noon tomorrow and starting our long trek to Florida. Don't worry Ange, once we're back I'll be sure to add more pictures! :-)

November is for birthdays!

Just 12 days after Stella turned 8, Ben turned 9! He asked for a vanilla cake with peanut butter icing (this was a first attempt for me on the icing). This kid looooves peanut butter! He finally got the cowboy boots he's been wanting for a year as well as loads of cash and a couple of RC cars. As you can see in the pictures, Ben's facial expressions completely described the amount of happiness he felt on his birthday and at his party at Chuck-E-Cheese with his friends.

Welcome home Bella!

Did I mention we got a puppy?! By now you must be able to see what a procrastinator I am so it probably come as a surprise to find out that we've had her for two MONTHS now. :-) Our little Bella is a cock-a-poo, aka fuzzball. She is so much fun and is constantly making us laugh. Lately she has become even more of a mama's girl than normal. As I was wrapping presents earlier today she sat outside the door crying until she finally fell asleep. If she didn't eat the wrapping paper maybe I would have let her in.

Stella turns 8!

Stella turned 8 on November 5th and after celebrating as a family on her special day she had her first ever party with friends that following weekend. The girls loved their special punch, chocolate fondue and pink cupcakes. I had a blast decorating and preparing for her party and can't wait to do it again next year. I think we'll have to hold off on the slumber parties for several years if I want to keep any bit of sanity to me.

Now that we've hit Thanksgiving I thought I should post a couple of pics from Halloween.

Brandon went as a "muff diver" (classy I know) and Stella picked out a fairy costume for me so we could be twins. Too cute!

Save the Date: December 20th, 2009

It's official! On December 20th we will be headed to Disney World for a few days with a quick trip to Cocoa Beach to get married. What a better way to celebrate such a wonderful event than with the kids and Mickey Mouse!

While in town visiting with Ange & kids we took a trip to the beach with Dad & Kay. Ben & Stella were so excited it was just as good as the ocean in their minds.

















Dad & Kay made us a picnic before we headed for the water! I'm pretty sure Leona thought sand was edible because every time I looked at her she was shoving as much of it in her mouth as her little hand would allow (hence the dirty face).
